AIA Colorado BEC August Meeting

Join the AIA Colorado Building Enclosure Council (BEC) on Wednesday, Aug. 6, from noon - 1 p.m., for Silicone Sealants and Coatings for Building Construction and Restoration.

Location Change: The program will be held at the AIA Colorado office (303 E. 17th Ave., Ste. 110, Denver, CO 80203).

In this program, the audience will learn about the differences between silicone and organic sealant chemistries. Other topics covered are key sealant properties, weatherseal and structural applications, correct installation techniques, why sealants fail, and the benefits of silicone sealants and coatings.

Attendees can earn 1.0 AIA HSW continuing education learning unit (LU). Under the state of Colorado’s rules for continuing education for state licensure renewal, this program should meet the requirements for 1.0 HSW CEH.

This program is free for all AIA Colorado members, including professional affiliate members.
